Raulerson One-Step™

The Raulerson One-Step™ Guidewire Bulb Introducer is the cutting edge of guidewire insertion technology. The One-Step™ offers a unique design that allows access to the vein of choice without a cumbersome syringe attached to a needle. The vessel location is verified by blood flash back viewed through the clear bulb. This new design also provides a method for introducing the guidewire that is bloodless due to an integral valve located in the hub of the introducer. The use of the bulb eliminates blood loss during the initial stages of guidewire insertion and helps prevent air embolus. The Raul- erson One-Step™ Bulb Introducer allows the flexibility of using any standard size gauge introducer needle.

Insertion Procedure

Using a one-handed, finger-tip technique offers greater con- trol and accuracy for vessel location verses needle/syringe assemblies which require the physician to pull back on the syringe while at the same time attempting accurate insertion of the needle. With the bulb syringe there is no lateral motion and no struggling with aspiration.
